White food grade rubber is available in three elastomer types – Natural (NR), Neoprene (CR) and Nitrile (NBR).
These food grade rubber elastomers are suitable for use with food and drink stuffs and are in accordance with FDA [Food and Drug Administration – Department of Health and Human Services] part 177 – Indirect food additives section 177.2600 – rubber articles for repeated usage.
Natural – Recommended for use in low temperature applications within the food industry.

Neoprene – Recommended for higher temperature applications involving fats and oil, particularly within the food industry.
